Barossa Vallery Single Vineyard Shiraz

This is not only a single vineyard wine but a Barossa Shiraz with a true claim to being handcrafted; rod and spur hand pruned vines, hand picked grapes, with using open fermentation, basket pressed and matured in French barriques. The wine is racked 2-3 times prior to being sent for bottling (without filtration), with hand labelling and packaging upon its return. With the small amount involved, attention to detail remains a priority. The wine has developed into a characteristic Barossa shiraz with the color, concentrated black fruits, dark chocolate, mocha and spice that comes with such a heritage.
